  Do you own a sailboat but are not yet confident in your abilities to handle it? Or maybe you are planning a longer cruise to a new destination and need to brush up on your skills. I can help you take your sailing to the next level. Whether you sail by yourself, as a couple, or as a family, I can help improve your individual skills and also how you operate the boat as a team. I specifically enjoy working with sailing couples to make their boating experience more enjoyable. We can discuss your specific needs and tailor your lesson to what you need the most.

  Are you looking for a competent, friendly, level-headed sailboat captain to help you with a variety of boating needs? You found me! I hold a 50-ton US Coast Guard Master license (aka captain license) and a 100-ton OUPV license, both with sailing endorsements. I have over 20 years of sailing experience, with the last three years living and cruising on our sailboat from Seattle, WA, to Central America. I am passionate about sailing, cruising, and just about anything to do with boats and water. I enjoy passing my knowledge to others and sharing the positive experience of being out there in nature on a boat.

Deliveries/Relocation

• Will Provide Services In These Areas: 

  Do you need your boat moved to your summer cruising grounds or returned to the home port? Or maybe you just purchased your new vessel and need some help getting her to a new dock. I can help with that and more. I can come on board as a captain/skipper or as crew/advisor to the owner. I can also arrange and bring more crew, as needed, for the size of the vessel and the duration of the delivery.

  I am available to short local deliveries in Pacific Northwest region and between US and Canada, and also for longer deliveries in other parts of the world, upon request.
