We are looking for a Captain to run one of the boats this year out of North Myrtle Beach, SC.

Must have OUPV License, reliable transportation, no drug problems.

The Island Line Bike Ferry is Vermont’s only bike ferry service and one of a few in the entire country. This destination is one of the most scenic in the world, bringing cyclists and pedestrians across “The Cut”, a 200-foot gap on the beautiful Colchester Causeway. With Burlington 10 miles to the south and South Hero 3 miles to the north, the Bike Ferry is the Island Line connection for locals, tourists, and traveling cyclists. The Bike Ferry is a 45-foot pontoon boat designed to carry 20 passengers and bikes and operates from mid-May to mid-October, 9am to 7pm. Captains work 1-3 days per week. U.S. Coast Guard license, 25-ton Master or higher is required.

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and professional USCG Licensed Captain (and crew members) to operate a 100-foot charter boat on the scenic Lake Norman in Cornelius, NC. This vessel is used year-round for private events, including weddings, receptions, corporate outings, birthdays, and other group functions, accommodating up to 100 guests per cruise.
The ideal candidate must ensure the safe operation of the vessel, provide an exceptional guest experience, and coordinate with the crew and event staff to ensure smooth operations for each charter. Most cruises are 3 to 4 hours in duration, with some days requiring multiple trips, particularly on weekends.
Compensation:
• Pay will be negotiated based on experience.

Spend your summer and fall giving SNHA’s River Discovery Boat Tours on our historic, USCG-certified passenger vessel, the Chief Uncas! Captain must be a United States Coast Guard (USCG) Licensed Master Captain to operate SNHA’s 55’ long, classic 1912 electric-powered boat. This tour boat cruises with up to 24 passengers, a Crew Member, and a Captain on 1-hour tours of the Susquehanna River region known as Lake Clarke. SNHA also offers longer private cruises. Tours are offered Thursday -Sunday Memorial Day thru October with private cruises on weekdays. Training with returning boat captains will occur for a time frame determined by the B-tour Manager.
COMPENSATION: Starting at $26 per hour

Must have ability to travel internationally for several trips a year for Bahamas runs. Looking for someone with track record in tournament fishing and who has experience on Cats. – Monitor and maintain all onboard equipment, including communication and navigation systems, engines, and life-saving equipment.
– Manage and supervise a team of crew members, including training, scheduling, and providing guidance and support.

Seeking a full-time captain to operate private scenic tours aboard a 27′ luxury deck boat. Tours are from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. 7 days/week. It’s a short season, so we have to make the most of any tours we can book. Captain will also serve as the general manager and administrator – i.e. answer the company cell phone, book reservations, handle re-bookings for weather issues, sell tours, act as a tour guide, keep the boat clean, refill with fuel, etc. It’s an easy, fun business primarily serving tourists in the Colorado High Country. Company shirts, jacket, hat provided. Background check and references will be required. If you are an experienced crew member that can handle a boat, we may be interested in talking to you as well. The Outfitters Center is now accepting applications for the position of Boat Program Coordinator. This position is primarily responsible for all operational aspects of the Member Boat Program. This includes the launching and retrieving of member owned boats , scheduling of launches and retrieves, conducting monthly billing and conducting monthly maintenance inspections of the boats in the program. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience trailering and launching/retrieving boats, superb boat handling skills, excellent organizational and logistical skills, and top-notch customer service skills. A USCG OUPV Captains License is not required but certainly a plus and would open up the opportunity to run occasional sightseeing and/or family fishing charters.

Looking for a young, energetic, happy, drug free and fun Captain for a full or part-time position on a newly refurbished 1947 60-foot Trumpy Houseboat which will be at home on the St. Johns River in Orange Park. Limited Cap experience okay. The owners plan to make increasingly larger shake down cruises on the St. John… then down the Intracoastal to FLL… the Keys… Bahamas… the Florida mini-loop and possibly the Great Loop. The owners, a married couple, enjoy having friends and family on board for dinner cruises… cruises to a local yacht club… we enjoy being on the hook, as well as, staying over in marinas. Duties include provisioning, trip planning, securing steward or stewardess assistance, as needed, simple meal prep, and keeping the “Jewel Box” sparkling… Cheers!!

The NESS USCG Licensed Captain – Marine Science & Adventure Sports (MSAS) Educator helps New England Science & Sailing Foundation (NESS) implement high quality programming with an active, hands-on, experientially oriented marine science-based lessons. Programs are for students ages 11-17 in subjects such as powerboating, fishing, surfing, and adventure sports. Qualified applicants will hold at minimum an OUPV 6-Pack license issued by the US Coast Guard. They will be passionate, motivated, able to work within a team as well as on their own and have proven skills working with children of all ages. MSAS Educators will be assigned to support NESS programs based on educational background and previous experience.
