Job Description:
We are seeking a Captain and crew to operate a 99-foot sternwheeler from the Hood River Marina in Hood River, Oregon. Beginning summer 2026, the vessel will run two daily voyages, each a two-hour adventure through the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area.
Each journey will be a Lewis & Clark–style expedition, bringing history and storytelling to life with the added highlight of a private island stop. More than a cruise, it’s an immersive experience that lets visitors step back in time and see the Columbia as explorers once did.
We also offer excursions like railbiking, trolley rides, and orchard tours, this new attraction needs a skilled, personable Captain and crew to ensure safe, engaging, and unforgettable voyages.

We are seeking an experienced Yacht Captain based in Palm Beach Gardens, FL to manage a 55’ Yacht for a private family. This role can be Full-Time or Part-Time, depending on availability and fit. The captain will oversee safe vessel operation, maintenance, and readiness, providing instruction and hands-on training to family members. Responsibilities include navigation, trip planning, vendor coordination, hurricane preparation, and repairs. The family typically uses the yacht once or twice a month for long weekend trips to local destinations, the Keys, and the Bahamas. Candidates must hold a USCG Master Captain’s License (50 Ton+), have 3+ years of experience with vessels 50’+, strong mechanical knowledge, and excellent interpersonal skills.
