MASTER/CAPTAIN – ALASKA
We are seeking qualified candidates for the Master/Captain position in Alaska. We are looking for candidates having salvage, towing, emergency response and operational experience along US Coastal Waters, in and around Alaska on conventional ocean going tug/anchor handling vessels with a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Master/Captain.
The candidate must have Master of Towing, 1,600(GRT) upon Oceans USCG endorsements.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Thorough knowledge of AHTS handling and navigational skills
Proven Ocean Towage Experience Offshore & Coastwise
Salvage / Vessel emergency rescue experience is strong plus
Experience in laying and picking up mooring spreads is a strong plus
Well versed with USCG / ABS / ISM / ISPS regulatory requirements as applicable to ocean going tugs
Possess strong written and oral communication skills

The Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen with a current passport (for foreign voyages), holding a current and appropriate USCG License for Master/Captain and have a Master of Towing,1,600(GRT) Upon Oceans Endorsement. All Prospective Employees Must Submit to A Drug Test and Background Check
