Friendly, professional USCG licensed 6 pack charter boat captain for 90-minute cruises aboard a 22′ Duffy electric boat around historic Salem Harbor – seasonal from mid-May to the end of October – with flexible schedule offered.
Duties include, but not limited to:
Ensuring compliance with all maritime safety regulations
Managing day-to-day vessel operations, including maintenance checks and light cleaning
Overseeing safety drills, passenger briefings, and emergency procedures
Maintaining detailed logs of trips, safety checks and maintenance activities for regulatory compliance
The charters don’t call for tour narration, although captains may be asked to point out local points of interest.
Salary negotiable based on experience, plus customer tips and a flexible schedule.
