Captain for large yacht in the Pacific Northwest and SE Alaska

CEO Expeditions is looking for a Captain/Engineer available immediately through September to take our 124’ M/Y Kayana from Seattle to Sitka and around SE Alaska and return.
M/Y Kayana is a 7 stateroom Vosper classic aluminum hull yacht. We’ve just completed a major mechanical repower and refit and are looking for a Captain with an engineering background.
Guests will travel with family and friends, enjoying time aboard this beautiful yacht, and fishing when they can.
Candidate must have a 200-ton license and be knowledgeable in the Puget Sound and SE Alaska waters. The ideal candidate may have some past charter experience dealing with guests and managing crew.<
CEO Expeditions provides luxury yachting expeditions in Alaska, the Pacific Northwest and San Juan Islands, and Mexico.
Job Requirements

My fiancée and I are hosting a combined bachelor/bachelorette party with 10 people (including ourselves) on August 4, 2018, in Washington, DC. The boat is a Sea Ray 270 Sundeck. We will need a USCG-licensed captain to be the sober operator for the duration of the 8-hour trip on the Potomac River (some portions moving, some portions anchored). We are estimating an hourly wage of $30, but we are open to offers.

Position Requirements:

• Minimum of a current OUPV (6pack) Merchant Mariners license with Assistance Towing endorsement and a valid TWIC Card.
• Weekend and holiday work is a must.
• Ability to work nights including night navigation of vessels.
• Excellent boat handling skills
• Each employee must submit to a pre-employment drug test as required by the United States Coast Guard. Upon hiring, the candidate must submit to random drug testing.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and have access to a reliable vehicle for use by the candidate.
• Knowledge of NY Harbor, Raritan Bay, and Navesink and Shrewsbury Rivers.
• Scuba certification a plus.
