Position Summary:

Responsible for providing outstanding and safe on-water experiences by creating a balanced presentation of nature, culture, and history education and sport-specific technique.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide superior experiences to every Outside Brands guest, connecting our guests to the history, culture, and nature of the local area.
• Demonstrate proficiency with boat handling skills and be willing to work with Outside staff in bringing skills up to standard.
• Stay up-to-date with local history, nature, and wildlife topics.
• Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner, conforming to and/or exceeding regulations. This includes maintaining the company-issued Guide Box on each vessel.

Maintain current credentials:

• USGC License
• TWIC Card
• Drug Consortium Membership
• MROP (Master Captains only)
• SCDNR Fishing License (if applicable)
• First Aid/CPR
• Maintain and clean all equipment, including tackle, to the highest standard per Outside Brands policy. This includes accurately maintaining refueling records in the appropriate fuel log. Communicate any exceptions to the Special Services Manager.
• Complete all trip paperwork per company policy.
• For fishing captains, includes completion of fishing log and submission to SCDNR.
• Be prepared for a trip at any time when scheduled as GOC, keeping clean uniform and safety equipment on hand.
• Arrive at least 30 minutes early to prepare for trips.
• Communicate any operational incidents to the Director of Reservations.
• Operate from any location as scheduled.
• Follow direction of any location-specific manager.
• Attend periodic Captain, guide, and all-staff meetings.
• Support an environment of learning and trust by acting as a positive role model.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook

Need a captain +1 crew to help me pick up a boat in the Dominican Republic. it is a 43 foot Fountaine Pajot Belize… Catamaran.If things go according to plan we will receive possession in early February.. We would get organized and try to deliver it to the USA as soon as weather allows.

Part Time Boat Captain: Captain needed for state of the art, fully equipped, 64’ custom Scully yacht fishing “machine”!

Job responsibilities include maintaining & cleaning boat & equipment, some boat mechanical skills, expert fisherman, and familiar with fishing grounds off Montauk Point N.Y. Work Wednesday and Thursday, April through November.

Earn $30,000 pro rated every week year-round plus bonus.

we are looking for a STEW/COOK for next summer season (april/october):
28m classic sailing Yacht yacht (charter) is looking for a sole stewardess/chef/strong cook to join their crew of 3. The Sole stewardess/Chef/Strong cook will need to be enthusiastic, creative and be able to think outside the circle. A strong eye to detail within the interior detailing and very organised. Have an outgoing and flexible personality, be able to work in a small team environment, be well organised at all times.
The yacht will consider candidates overseas however you will need to be prepared to pay for your flight home and must have a EU working visa.
CHEF/STRONG COOK DUTIES: You will be required to cook for guests and crew, be able to provision and menu plan. Be really organised
STEWARDESS DUTIES: Maintain the interior in yacht to a high standard, have strong table service and strong eye to detail within in the yacht.
