Private Sportfishing Boat Captain:

Seeking an experienced Captain for a 70-foot custom Sportfishing vessel based out of Stuart, Florida 9 months of the year and Cape Cod, Massachusetts 3 months of the year.
The ideal candidate will have a 100-ton U.S.C.G license and have strong nautical and mechanical knowledge.
The Captain will be responsible for carrying out regular Captain duties, including managing the vessel, keeping up with mechanical maintenance, as well as keeping everything clean and in good working order.
You will also interact with an owner very knowledgeable about boating and sportfishing.
This is a great opportunity for a qualified Captain looking for a full-time position that will enjoy the best of both worlds – Florida in the winter – and Cape Cod in the summer.

We are looking for a Capt or mate that knows how to fish the inshore and offshore waters in our area. We have a 28 foot Mako with twin 300 mercs and would like to hire an experienced fisherman to teach us how to fish these waters.

PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A TEMPORARY HOLIDAY POSITION TO START WITH. Family trip to either the Florida Keys or Bahamas aboard our mini expedition yacht. Owner would like to learn from you about the operations of his boat. This is a short term trip to see how we like each other and if we get along. December 15 to January 10. Owner just getting started in yachting. Family is a total of four. Very easy going and fun. Kids are 12 and 17. If you don’t like kids, smoke or are anti social then please don’t apply. The boat is 68 Ft. LOA with a 22.5 ft beam. There is a submarine, tender and scuba jets. This is a fun casual position for the right Captain. Might consider lesser experience trying to gain larger vessel experience. That’s how the owner got his leg up in flying helicopters, when he went from single engine to twin engine. Moonraker weighs 90 tons and is very slow 6-7kts but very stable. Twin Detroit Diesels that do not leak! Two cranes. Floating beach. Kayaks. Paddle Boards. Open to any nationality, as long as you speak English. Captain’s cabin is off the helm and tight for two people, in case couple is applying. Come join us for a fun two weeks.

Qualification:-
Boating license or certification.

Previous boating experience preferred.

Strong navigation and communication skills.

Basic mechanical knowledge.

Training in first aid and emergency response.

Customer service-oriented.

Experience – minimum (10years).
