Job Description
The primary responsibility of this position is to maximize the customer experience by maintaining a safe and positive work environment for the parasail staff and guests. This person will ensure the highest level of customer service, safety, quality and consistency while at all times driving sales and controlling costs. This person must also maintain the parasail fleet to the highest quality while minimizing all hazards and dangers related to parasailing.
Job Responsibilities
Operates and navigates boats according to state regulations and Aramark procedures
Effectively communicates with office supervisor to coordinate parasail flights.
Maintain schedules for all Parasailing flights
Maintains clean work area on the parasail boat and in storage areas.
Guide guests and staff on boating safety procedures
Maintain knowledge of company vessels and may instruct customers on boat operation
Clean, maintain, fuel, and perform minor maintenance on vessels
Facilitate a clean and safe environment, reporting any maintenance issues or unsafe conditions to management
Adhere to safety policies and procedures
Greet customers and assist with inquires or concerns while anticipating the customers’ needs
Maintain all regulatory documentation for each vessel
Maintains excellent customer service and positive attitude towards guest, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.
Other duties and tasks as assigned by manager
Qualifications
• Minimum of 6 pax captain license
• Previous experience as a parasail captain highly desired
• Weekend/holiday availability
• Maintain current First Aid and CPR approved cards
• Previous customer service experience preferred
• Comfortability working outdoors, on water, and in high temperatures.
• Frequent standing, lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling greater than 50 lbs.
• Must be able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks and exposure to hazardous chemicals

My wife and I plan to purchase a 38 foot flybridge cruiser in Miami in March, and cruise to the Bahamas to spend the month of May. The NESS Marine Science & Adventure Sports (MSAS) Educator helps New England Science & Sailing Foundation (NESS) implement high quality programming with an active, hands-on, experientially oriented marine science-based lessons. Program platforms include kayaking, snorkeling, surfing, stand-up paddle boarding and fishing. Qualified applicants will be passionate, motivated, able to work within a team as well as on their own and have proven skills working with children of all ages. MSAS Educators will be assigned to support NESS programs based on educational background and previous experience. This full-time, seasonal position reports to the NESS Associate Program Director. Captains have the opportunity to teach our powerboating, surfing, general adventure sports, fishing, and upper-level marine science courses. The position includes two weeks of training (lifeguarding for those not certified and safety trainings) and 10 weeks of camp from June 5-August 25, and there are options to work full or part time.

We are starting a boat towed Hang Gliding operation out of Charleston Harbor. It is similar to a parasailing operation except our clients fly up thousands of feet and release from the boat and lands back in the water.
We are looking to setup a 21+ ft boat to tow us up with a hydraulic platform in the back. We need a 6 pack captain and a crew member for a year-round position.
This is a startup business that will not be up in operation till the Summer of 2024. Looking to see who may be available by then.
Salary negotiable but around 50K/year plus health/dental for the captain, and 30K for the crew member.
