I own a SUNDANCE 22DLX WITH T TOP150 HP YAMAHA OUTBOARD DECKED OUT and am looking for a Captn. who would charter for fishing…I would pay dock fees and we split profit 50/50. Looking to keep the boat in Miami, Florida, but am flexible with the location. Would def. keep the boat there through the winter, possibly longer. You would need to book the charters and captn’ the vessel. I take care of repair, docking…this is a $70,000 boat. I also have a nice jet ski, that we could rent along with…fyi.

Overview
American Cruise Lines is currently seeking Captains (full or part time) for its fleet of modern overnight passenger cruise ships. We offer over 30 unique 7 to 14 night itineraries that travel along the inland and coastal waterways of the East Coast, Pacific Northwest and Mississippi River. Each ship carries between 100 and 200 passengers under a US flag. Most ships are licensed under Subchapter K of USCG regulation. Each ship is equipped with the latest safety, navigation, and communications systems.
On board, you will receive excellent private accommodations, with in-suite head, satellite TV, etc., spouses are welcome. This position is ideal for experienced/retired Naval or Coast Guard officers with command experience interested in a second career with a great company. Responsibilities

Supervision and direction of Mate and Deckhands
Training of Mate and Deckhands

Maintaining crew discipline
Other duties as required
Qualifications;
Minimum of 100ton Near Coastal U.S. Coast Guard Master’s license Command experience on vessels of similar size

Ability to live and work on board for rotations of 2 -6 weeks

30%: VESSEL MAINTENANCE
Add items to the departments maintenance software. Assist, when possible, on completing repairs to ensure no or little lost time to courses. Be on call while other TAMUG vessels are underway for emergency repair or problems. Inspect TAMUG vessels and docks and maintain documentation. Vessel maintenance requires that the employee have the ability to drive a University vehicle (including attached trailers) to move and/or launch vessels.
15%: TRAINING
Assist with emergency drills as required by USCG. Maintain 100 % of USCG required crew up to date with First Aid, CPR and drug testing. Coordinate with other captains to revise and update (as needed) Emergency Procedures , Safety Speech , Captain s Checklist , Operation Manuals . US Powerboat Instructor. Assist with vessel operator training program for TAMUG.
5%: Other duties as assigned
