Job Description:

I’m looking to hire an part time captain for a new 54′ sailboat this summer, For daily bareboat charter trips, Predominantly on the weekends and occasionally during the week. Is this something you are interested in?

The vessel is located will be located in one of 2 locations: City Island NY or in Sag Harbor. The day trips typically would be around 3 different locations: Sag Harbor or New Rochelle- Pelham- City Island NY or day trips around New York City harbor area. I am looking for USCG license with sailing experience and credentials. Maybe you are only interested in one of the locations, that’s fine. Lets talk.

New to boating on the ocean and would like to have a captain on-board for the first trip away from the dock. Some maneuvering and docking training would be great as well as a better understanding and confidence navigating Beverly and Salem waters. Boat is docked in Beverly and time frame is as soon as possible.

Seeking an experienced and licensed Boat Captain that can operate a Boston Whaler 420
Outrage in San Juan, PR. The candidate must also be able to serve as a personal assistant to the owner
with his personal cars, vendor coordination and other errands, per request. This is a Full-Time position.
Pay starts at $60,000/ year and commensurate with experience.

Specifically, you should be able to:
• Operate a Boston Whaler Outrage 42 and serve as crew during voyages.
• Ensure proper use of safety practices and procedures
• Responsible for providing all aspects of boat maintenance, including ongoing inspection of
systems/equipment
• Assist with staff boat trips
• Ensure that boat is clean and well-maintained, including supervising the cleaning services that
are provided to the boat
• Coordinate with private chefs for cooking aboard the boat
• Provide maintenance to cars, including ongoing cleaning, and filling up gas tanks as needed
• Coordinate with vendors for work done at personal apartment
• Run additional errands upon request
• Availability to work during Weekends and be On Call

Qualifications
• Residing in Puerto Rico (near San Juan area)
• Provide at least 5 personal/professional references
• No criminal history
• License that authorizes the use/handling of boats in Puerto Rico and provides evidence of
required navigation skills
• 5+ years of experience with the operation and maintenance of boats (30 feet or larger)

Our guests can book a trip on one of our three vessels at various starting times throughout the week. We are looking for someone who is flexible, reliable, and can work on an on-call basis, if necessary.

Private Sportfishing Boat Captain:
Seeking an experienced Captain for a 70-foot custom Sportfishing vessel based out of Stuart, Florida 9 months of the year and Cape Cod, Massachusetts 3 months of the year.
The ideal candidate will have a 50-ton U.S.C.G license and have strong nautical and mechanical knowledge.
The Captain will be responsible for carrying out regular Captain duties, including managing the vessel, keeping up with mechanical maintenance, as well as keeping everything clean and in good working order.
You will also interact with an owner very knowledgeable about boating and sportfishing.
This is a great opportunity for a qualified Captain looking for a full-time position that will enjoy the best of both worlds – Florida in the winter – and Cape Cod in the summer.
