Yacht Capitan and House Manager Job Description
This position’s job duties include maintenance and piloting of the company’s 65 foot yacht and the maintenance of a corporate house, both are located in Deerfield Beach. The vessel is docked outside the house together with waterjets and rib. The job includes piloting the vessel when in use by company personnel as well as coordinating regular maintenance of its systems by the successful candidate and/or with the help of subcontractors. Another essential function of this position is ensuring that the house is maintained and kept up to top standard and that everything is in working order when it’s used by company personnel or guests. This is accomplished by overseeing the maintenance, upkeep and availability of the house.
Certificates Qualifications;
 6 pack charter captain license
 Mechanical degree or related experience
 Driver’s license
 Microsoft office: XL, Word, Power point
 A valid STCW certificate is required from all applicants.

Experiences:
 Minimum 5 years’ experience from working on charter boats or similar.
 Documented experience of mechanical work

Other:
 Service minded
 Good English communication skills
 Can-do attitude
 Accurate and used to document work done

As a Fishing Guide you will be expected to fish two guests per boat on a 20ft Olympic or similar boat. You are required to pass a pre-employment drug test, acquire a valid CPR/First Aid Certification, and you MUST have a United States Coast Guard near coastal Master Captain’s License or USCG 6-Pak License, and you must obtain an Alaska Sport Fish Guide License prior to arrival at Yes Bay Lodge.
