I am looking for a Captain for Private On The Water Training/ Handling 3-4 Hours Any day you might be available in Ocean Pines, MD. I have a 35′ Sea Ray Sundancer 350 with twin engines. I am just looking for a little help.

As Building and Land Technology (BLT) continues to enhance Harbor Point’s offerings and waterfront community development, we are seeking an outgoing, OUPV Licensed (6-pack), Limited OUPV, or Master 25T Captain for the operation and transportation of our visitors, guests and both commercial and residential tenants, across the West Branch channel in Stamford Harbor, aboard the Harbor Point Water Taxi (Pontoon Vessel).

Duties and Responsibilities:

Operate uninspected vessel of less than 100 GRT (gross register tons), equipped with propulsion machinery, carrying six or fewer passengers.

Perform daily operational inspection(s); including and not limited to; vessel cleanliness, engine performance, oil level(s), navigational lights, horn, fuel, battery, hull, lines, fenders, additional lighting, Bimini frame & cover.

Fuel vessel, add oil, change battery, and lightbulbs, if necessary.

Perform daily safety inspection(s); including and not limited to; All safety equipment, such as life vest(s), Life ring(s), Lifeline/Buoy, VHF Radio, navigational lights, first-aid equipment, capable of operating and inspecting fire extinguisher(s), ladder deployment/retrieval, anchor deployment and setting

Management of daily reports; including trips, maintenance, fuel, passenger activity, other statistical demands, and incidents

Maintain vessel in excellent condition, inspect and cover vessel at end of each shift.

Maintain a clean, pleasant, and safe atmosphere for all including team members.

Greeting all visitors, guests and tenants with exceptional care and providing five-star customer service; including answering any question and providing local knowledge and information, as requested or necessary.

Requirements:

Active/Current OUPV License (6-pack), Limited OUPV, or (Higher) Master 25T

Enrolled in Drug and Alcohol (DOT) approved testing program (or willingness to enroll in company sponsored program, mandatory pre-hire screening/testing)

Drug and Alcohol; spot check and shift testing

Swimming is mandatory

Candidate must be able to lift 40lbs

VHF knowledge (and Seaspeak is a plus)

Capacity to maintain poise in a high impact, dynamic work environment

Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours (if needed) to support all programs and events.

Training and Certification in First Aid, CPR, Vessel Fire Safety Knowledge, and “Man overboard” sequence a plus (Not Required)

I am a professional captain with over 40 years experience seeking a part-time and on-call relief captain for operating six-passenger tours on 38′ sailboat. You must have: appropriate license, experience with auxiliary sailboats of this nature, some knowledge of the local area, a flexible schedule, a strong customer service attitude, be enrolled in or willing to enroll in drug testing program. I provide a qualified mate to assist you, an insured and properly equipped vessel adhering to all laws and regulations and expect 100% professionalism and good character. This pays very well. Please–no prima donnas, know-it-alls or scrambled-egg wannabes-just solid professional mariners willing to serve customers.

We are looking for an OUPV/six-pack licensed boat captain to charter private boat tours departing from Stamford, CT. Must be personable, able to provide top-tier hospitality on tours, and hold friendly conversations with guests. The boat is a red 2016 Tahoe TS 20′ sport boat.

Need someone who is available 5-6 days a week for an average of 2 tours a day (typically 2-4 hrs each). Some trips will be dock n dine in Oyster Bay, Long Island. Must have a current TWIC card, at least 2 years of boating experience, strong navigation skills, CPR/First Aid certified, and ensure adherence to Coast Guard rules and regulations, and other federal and local rules and regulations. Pay is $30/hour. All tips are yours!

I am looking for a captain who is available 5-6 days a week running boat tours. Most charters will be in NYC Hudson River. We are docked in Port Washington Capri West Marina, New York. Most if not all pickups will be from Chelsea Piers. Charters will be for 6 people max. The boat is a Sea Ray Sundancer 2009 with Cummins Zeus Pods / Joystick controls and twin engines. In addition please be available and willing to do boat charters for owner when needed. Thank you!
