Ross Lake Resort has seasonal positions available for our 2021 season! We are a small remote fishing resort floating in the North Cascades National Park/Recreation Area. Our business consists of 15 rental cabins and a fleet of rental equipment including motor boats, canoes, kayaks and stand up paddle boards.
We offer a water taxi service to transport guests to and from hiking trails and camp sites along Ross Lake. We are here to help the public enjoy the National Park and its back country as much as we do! We are looking for a hire who is: Valid US Coast Guard OUPV (six pack) License. Must be at least 18 years of age, Well motivated, Quick to learn, Easily gets along with others. There is no road access to the lake so our employees’ hike in and out for their work week. Employees stay here four/five days a week and have a two/three day weekend (not necessarily weekend days) to shop and get personal time. Because there is no store nearby, everyone brings in all their own groceries and any supplies that are needed for their days on.
The crew quarters will be CDC compliant. The particulars are still in the planning stages according to current guidelines. Will discuss during the first remote/phone interview. The position is full time (40 hours a week) and wage is DOE + and Tips. Our season runs from June 10th through October 31st, we begin hiring in May. Operators responsibilities: Transports lake visitors, gear, and occasional rental equipment via boat along Ross Lake Issuance of rental equipment, Rental equipment maintenance and General dock maintenance, Assisting with guest check in/check out, Assisting guests whenever necessary. Licensed Captain on Cape Cod and Nantucket,MA for June through October. Sightseeing Charters onboard a Hinckley 36 pleasure yacht.

Seeking a Licensed Master Captain to join our team. Candidate will be responsible for captaining a unique 25 passenger tour boat with Deckhand, and interacting with customers.

Seasonal position (April 15 – November 15)

7 days a week available.

Must:

Have USCG Master Captain’s License.
Have Knowledge of Coast Guard safety procedures and Emergency Drills.
Ensure safety of all passengers and crew members.
Be able to comply with Coast Guard required drug and alcohol program.
Participate in boats preventative maintenance as per Manufacturer’s Manual.
Be punctual, hard-working, flexible, driven, energetic, and a good communicator.
Preferred:

Experience operating vessels in NY Harbor.
Experience as a tour guide.

General Summary:
Responsible for carrying out the daily Captain duties, including but not limited to: upkeep of boat; fueling boats; repairs; checking in customers; and handling customer inquiries and complaints.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Maintain, clean and fuel your boat
• Oil changes and general maintenance if qualified
• Make sure you have bait before each trip
• Stock boat with refreshments danish/muffins and coffee for customers

• Check in customers in the mornings
• Timecard management

Required Knowledge and Abilities:
• Master Captains license required
• Wants to work and is willing to learn
• Must be able to pass a drug test

Freedom Boat Club of Virginia is seeking USCG licensed captains to provide on-water training for our new members. All of our boats are 2019 or newer, 18′-26′ single outboards. Flexible schedule

Looking for a USGA licensed captain. Six pack or Masters to charter 2 hour boat rides for a Tiki cruise business in Pewaukee.

Pay is $40 an hour so $80 a charter. They are usually booked in the evenings so our captain came after his full time job last year.
The weekends expect 2 charters a day on Saturday and Sunday. Times are more flexible but I will usually book back to back.

USCG Licensed Captain for Day Charters in Miami & Montauk, NY

Compensation: Competitive Hourly + Tips
Employment type: Part-time/Full-time

Looking for a USCG master licensed safety oriented captain to operate a 36’ Rinker cruiser and similar sized boats for the 2021 season. We operate a charter company and will be very busy with bookings all spring/summer but especially on weekends. Must be knowledgable about boating safety and well mannered to greet and provide guests with a fun safe experience on the water. The boat will operate in Miami until first week of May. After that she will head north to Montauk, NY.

Mechanical knowledge and experience is a huge plus. Captain will need to help manage the vessel, keep up with mechanical maintenance, as well as keep everything clean and in good working order.

Looking for someone to captain in Florida for the remaining weeks then make the move up to Long Island for the summer to captain in Montauk, NY. For the right candidate this position is open and housing in NY will be provided.
