We are looking for a captain, that can manage all aspects of the Searay.
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Captain and Mechanic to join our team and take responsibility for the management, maintenance and upkeep of our SeaRay 380 boat.

Responsibilities:

Maintain and Repair:
* Conduct regular inspections of ALL boat systems , engines, transmissions, and other components to identify functionality issues.
* Perform diagnostic tests to identify and troubleshoot problems.
* Carry out necessary repairs to ensure maximum reliability and safety.
* Troubleshoot reported problems and resolve them in a timely manner.
* Perform thorough maintenance on engines, mechanical systems, electrical systems, and plumbing.
* Replenish fluids and replace components of motors as needed.
* Troubleshoot, fix, and fully repair Mercruiser engines and generators.

Cleaning and Maintenance:
Clean and maintain the boat, both inside and outside, to keep it in pristine condition.
Touch up any scratches, dents, holes, or other aesthetic issues, including waxing and buffing.

Documentation and Reporting:
* Maintain accurate logs of work performed and report any issues
* Keep records of maintenance tasks and repairs performed on the boat.

Spare Parts Management:
Research and source possible replacement parts to optimize the operations of the boat.
Ensure that the boat has all necessary spare parts to minimize downtime and prevent delays due to hard-to-find parts.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Mechanic, preferably with experience with Searays and Mercruiser engines.
Strong mechanical, electrical, and plumbing skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair boat systems.
In-depth knowledge of marine engines, propulsion systems, generators, and related components.
Familiarity with marine safety standards and regulations.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
Proficiency in troubleshooting, fixing, and fully repairing Mercruiser engines and generators.
Familiarity with SeaRay boats, specifically the SeaRay 380 model, is preferred.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and handle tasks efficiently.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
Availability to address urgent issues promptly, even outside of regular hours.
