The NESS Marine Science & Adventure Sports (MSAS) Educator helps New England Science & Sailing Foundation (NESS) implement high quality programming with an active, hands-on, experientially oriented marine science-based lessons. Program platforms include kayaking, snorkeling, surfing, stand-up paddle boarding and fishing. Qualified applicants will be passionate, motivated, able to work within a team as well as on their own and have proven skills working with children of all ages. MSAS Educators will be assigned to support NESS programs based on educational background and previous experience. This full-time, seasonal position reports to the NESS Associate Program Director. Captains have the opportunity to teach our powerboating, surfing, general adventure sports, fishing, and upper-level marine science courses. The position includes two weeks of training (lifeguarding for those not certified and safety trainings) and 10 weeks of camp from June 5-August 25, and there are options to work full or part time.

We are starting a boat towed Hang Gliding operation out of Charleston Harbor. It is similar to a parasailing operation except our clients fly up thousands of feet and release from the boat and lands back in the water.
We are looking to setup a 21+ ft boat to tow us up with a hydraulic platform in the back. We need a 6 pack captain and a crew member for a year-round position.
This is a startup business that will not be up in operation till the Summer of 2024. Looking to see who may be available by then.

OUPV captains must:
* Have the ability to lift equipment and supplies up to 50 lbs.
* Be comfortable operating in the fog with adequate navigational aids
*Be enthusiastic about the local marine environment.
*Have a passion for sharing the experience of cruising with up to 6 passengers at a time.
*Have the experience and ability to dock and tie up 27-31′ vessels by themselves in an array of wind and weather conditions.
*Have a basic knowledge of small vessel maintenance, and be willing to assist in daily maintenance and fueling of the charter vessels.
USCG 100-ton captains must:
* Have the ability to lift equipment and supplies up to 50 lbs.
* Be comfortable operating in the fog with adequate navigational aids
*Be a positive team manager and influence
*Have a passion for customer service and experiences
*Have the experience and ability to dock and direct the tie up of 65′ twin screw vessels in an array of wind and weather conditions.
* Have a working knowledge of life saving systems and fire fighting systems
*Have a working knowledge of large vessel maintenance and dock maintenance, and be willing to assist in daily maintenance of all inspected passenger vessels and the shared dock, as well as fueling of all passenger vessels
