Boat captain wanted for premier luxury yacht and fishing tours, located at Marina Pez Vela, Quepos, Costa Rica.

Summary:
We offer a luxury exhilarating and engaging fishing and luxury yachting experience on a dynamic and unique vessel located at the Marina Pez Vela, Quepos, Costa Rica. The Captain needs to safely operate 6 – 8 passenger luxury yacht for inshore fishing and luxury yachting executions. Captain must be bilingual in English and Spanish and is excellent at providing exemplary customer service on all executions.

This is a part-time position that can be developed into a full-time opportunity. Candidate must be willing to work flexible hours, weekends and holidays and in all (safe) weather conditions.

Requirements:

1. Must be Bi-lingual (Spanish, English) with local experience.
2. Needs to have good public speaking skills; past tour guide experience preferred but not necessary. Exemplary customer relation skills and ability to deal with operation of vessel while conducting historical and informational tours.
3. Candidates must be very safety-minded and have a strong knowledge of USCG regulations and safety procedures, have CPR and First Aid experience.
4. Knowledge of Marina and near coastal waters in Quepos – Manuel Antonio Costa Rica area.
5. Professional, neat and clean appearance and willing to wear apparel matching our company brand.

Responsibilities:
–Operate luxury yachting and fishing excursions from passenger greeting and loading to tour end and guest departure.
–Operating vessel safely while conducting engaging, informative and fun sightseeing tours.
–Ability to handle stressful situations while operating boat safely for corporate charters, photo/film shoots and other private charter conditions.
–Daily operations of charters and tours including vessel prep, cleaning and general maintenance.
–Maintain daily bookings/departures log and assist with on-site ticket collection and payment procedures.
–All work performed within established procedures and with high regard for vessels and equipment and most importantly, passenger enjoyment and safety.

The ideal candidate will be looking for a part-time position, possess knowledge of Quepos – Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica near coastal and bay waters, have an interest in or knowledge of area history, marine life and culture and be able to communicate that information in an engaging and entertaining manner.

Excellent opportunity awaits at the Marina at Cherry Creek State Park in Greenwood Village, CO! The Cherry Creek State Park is the most visited state park in Colorado. The Marina offers boat rentals, jet ski rentals, and has acquired an increased interest in dinner cruises, sunset cruises, and hosting private parties on a tour boat.

Description:I’m looking for captain to sail our 46′ Beneteau Sense on the Great Lakes during the summers. You could be located in Traverse City, MI or Holland, MI or Chicago. You could also live aboard the boat (iLean) should you choose to. The season is from May until mid October
