We are seeking a Captain and crew to operate a 99-foot sternwheeler from the Hood River Marina in Hood River, Oregon. Beginning summer 2026, the vessel will run two daily voyages, each a two-hour adventure through the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area.
Each journey will be a Lewis & Clark–style expedition, bringing history and storytelling to life with the added highlight of a private island stop. More than a cruise, it’s an immersive experience that lets visitors step back in time and see the Columbia as explorers once did.
We also offer excursions like railbiking, trolley rides, and orchard tours, this new attraction needs a skilled, personable Captain and crew to ensure safe, engaging, and unforgettable voyages.
