You must have: appropriate license, experience with auxiliary sailboats of this nature, some knowledge of the local area, a flexible schedule, a strong customer service attitude, be enrolled in or willing to enroll in drug testing program. I provide a qualified mate to assist you, an insured and properly equipped vessel adhering to all laws and regulations and expect 100% professionalism and good character. This pays very well. Job Description:
We are looking for an OUPV/six-pack licensed boat captain to charter private boat tours departing from Stamford, CT. Must be personable, able to provide top-tier hospitality on tours, and hold friendly conversations with guests. The boat is a red 2016 Tahoe TS 20′ sport boat.
Need someone who is available 5-6 days a week for an average of 2 tours a day (typically 2-4 hrs each). Some trips will be dock n dine in Oyster Bay, Long Island. Must have a current TWIC card, at least 2 years of boating experience, strong navigation skills, CPR/First Aid certified, and ensure adherence to Coast Guard rules and regulations, and other federal and local rules and regulations. Pay is $30/hour. All tips are yours!

I am looking for a captain who is available 5-6 days a week running boat tours. Most charters will be in NYC Hudson River. We are docked in Port Washington Capri West Marina, New York. Most if not all pickups will be from Chelsea Piers. Charters will be for 6 people max. The boat is a Sea Ray Sundancer 2009 with Cummins Zeus Pods / Joystick controls and twin engines. The Boat Captain is an integral part of guest experience at The Chatwal Lodge. He/She will provide a safe and fun experience on the Toronto Reservoir for The Chatwal Lodge Guest. As Captain, you will share your knowledge of the Toronto Reservoir and fun facts about the area while touring around guest on a 21’ Sea Ray Boat and a Tritoon.
Duties & Functions
• Responsible for the overall safety of the boat, equipment, and all charter guest onboard
• Pilot a Sea Ray and Tritoon vessel {e.g. Fishing Excursions, Picnics, etc}
• Proactively engage all guest in a warm, courteous, and engaging manner
• Responsible for the cleanliness of the vessel at all times
• Assist Guest on and off the vessel in a safe manner
• Responsible for general maintenance of the vessel
• Responsible for tailoring boat tours, activities by listening to the guest interest
• All other tasks and duties as assigned
Qualifications & Standards
â— Must have a High School Degree or Equivalent
◠Must have NYS Driver’s License
â— Must have USCG OUPV (six pack) license
â— Must have current First Aid & CPR Certification
â— Must be able to lift 50lbs

Overview : Seeking Boat Captains for Silver Springs world famous glass-bottom tour boats, providing safe passage on the Silver River while providing a scripted interpretive narration to park guests.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide friendly, timely and safe transportation on the Silver River to all guests patronizing Silver Springs’ Glass Bottom Boat Tour operation, following a preapproved route.
Memorize and deliver a pre-approved narration of the tour in a lively and informative manner.
Provide identification and other information about wildlife species encountered on the river.
Answer guest questions.
Conduct a daily safety inspection of the vessel, following a checklist, prior to first tour load.
Operate the vessel in a safe manner following all park and Coast Guard rules and regulations.
Maintain a good knowledge of the Park and current events in order to expedite guest inquiries.
Other duties as required.
Skills and Knowledge Required:
Must be 21 years of age or older
Must possess, a US Coast Guard Master Inland Captain License, rated for 25 GT vessel. Would consider training a qualified applicant who meets requirements for time on the water.
Strong speaking voice and confidence speaking to a group.
Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational skills
First aid certification may be required.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to move, stand, stoop and bend for an entire 8 hour shift. Tasks require consistent use of both arms and legs.
Must be willing to tolerate working outdoors year around for an entire shift.
Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and carry for short distances.
Must be able to visually inspect condition of vessels, river and equipment.
